Ben Greenman, a name that has quietly been making waves, stands as a testament to the beautiful synthesis of personal growth and meaningful community engagement.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, and having lived in North Carolina and St. Louis before making Lakeland his home, Ben’s journey is a fascinating tapestry of experiences. “Hi, I’m Ben Greenman”, he begins modestly, “and my story is one deeply interwoven with family, travel, and the communities I’ve been privileged to belong to”.

Ben’s story is not just about his geographical relocations but the rich legacy of memories and connections he's forged along the way. His high school years were marked by the rigorous curriculum at All Saints Academy, from which he graduated in 2019. Embracing his love for financial education, a passion inspired by his mother, Ben pursued his degree at Florida Southern College, culminating in his graduation in 2023.

“I kind of got into financial advising because of my mom”, Ben reflects. “She inspired me to help people become more financially literate”. Now, working full-time at Core Wealth Advisors in downtown Lakeland, Ben carries forward his mother’s legacy, focusing on guiding people toward financial wellness.

Travel is another thread that ties Ben’s story together, painting his life's canvas with vivid and unforgettable hues. From a semester abroad in Switzerland, where he studied in Winterthur and journeyed across nine different countries, to a soul-stirring safari in Kenya with his family. These experiences have broadened his horizons and deepened his appreciation for diverse cultures.

“My family and I have traveled to six continents”, Ben shares, his eyes lighting up with the recollection of their adventures in Nairobi. “Seeing the big five on safari was unbelievable. It’s probably one of my favorite trips yet”.

Yet, among all his travels, the summers spent in northern Michigan’s Glen Arbor hold a special place in Ben’s heart. Attending camp there since the age of six, it’s not just a spot on the map but a cherished sanctuary of family unity and nostalgia. “Northern Michigan is our central location we gather there every summer”, he notes, emphasizing the strong familial bonds.

Upon moving to Lakeland in 2021, Ben lived with his grandmother until her passing in 2022. She was my anchor here, he recalls fondly. Despite the loss, Ben found solace and strength within the community, becoming actively involved in Emerge and the Young Leaders Society with United Way.

In his spare time, Ben can be found indulging in golf at Grasslands, playing pickleball, or working out at Adrenaline Body Works. His loyal companion, a dog named Barcelona, serves as a four-legged reminder of his love for travel and the adventures that shape his life.
