When Kelly Koontz and her family moved into Barley Mill six years ago, they noticed a big change from their previous neighborhood. "We have no trick-or-treaters," explains Kelly. "That's been so sad because where I used to live, we had these huge parties for my kids. We used to start planning on the first day of school. I have so many Halloween decorations!" With no more parties to plan or candy to give out on Halloween night, Kelly decided to turn her love for Halloween into a treat for the whole neighborhood. While their backyard is decked out in fall's most beautiful colors, their front yard features some of the more haunting signs of the season, like gravestones, skeletons, jack-o-lanterns and more. The decorations may change by the year  – one year may see skeletons scaling the walls of their home, while the next, the skeletons are more sedate, calmly sitting at a table  – but one thing is for sure: Halloween spirit will definitely be on display!
