Charlie Solensky
Hi, I’m Charlie! I’m a two-year-old mini Bernedoodle. My nickname is Char Char but I think it’s a little silly since you can say Charlie in the same amount of time. Humans are confusing sometimes but I still think they are just the best. I love the little humans the most. They seem to have the same endless energy that I do. I wait and wait all day for that big yellow bus to roll up in the afternoon and bring my buddies back to me. The only thing I love more than people is socks. Man, those are delicious. I get so excited when Mom drops one out of the laundry basket. She doesn’t seem happy about my favorite treat but I just can’t help myself. They keep trying to get me to chase this round ball out in the yard and I don’t get why that should be fun for me. If they threw a sock I would definitely go after it!
A perfect day for me would include waking up early and eating immediately. Why wait?! Then a nice long walk to stretch my legs. I’d like to be greeted at the door by a rawhide that I can chew on until I get sick of it. This would ideally be followed by a four-hour nap with maybe an occasional belly rub from my mom or dad. When the kids get home, I want them to run up and down the stairs with me and throw my favorite toys around the house. Inside only please, this heat and humidity are not to my liking. I really love going on car rides, so ending the day riding to Starbucks for a pup cup would be so fun for me!
I am very glad I live in this nice neighborhood. I love going on long walks and seeing all the other people out and about. I have been living here for about a year now but I hope I get to stay forever. I am so grateful to Craig and Lisa Pfeifer for bringing me here. They took me to their house in Halle last year when I needed a new home. They helped me find my family and thankfully I still live close to them. I get to see them on walks and even stay at their house from time to time, which is a blast! I feel very happy that so many people love me and want to spend time with me.
