Opened in 2022, the practice started small in a shared space on 16th Street Mall before expanding to its first retail front in RiNo. Dr. Kumar enjoys working with patients of all skin types, problems, and colors. The practice is results and solutions-driven, focusing on treating specific problems like sun damage, resistant melasma, acne scarring, active acne, cellulite, stretch marks, and surgical scars. “Every patient gets a customized plan for their specific needs,” she says. “We don’t do cookie-cutter treatments.”

Skin! Medical Aesthetics offers memberships, allowing clients to come in monthly for treatments that address their concerns. Dr. Kumar is upfront with patients who need surgical interventions for optimal outcomes. “If I can’t help you or provide an optimal aesthetic outcome, I will refer you to the person who can,” she states, emphasizing her commitment to honest and effective care.

Dr. Kumar balances her time between Saint Anthony Hospital in Lakewood and her aesthetic practice. She mainly focuses her time performing Avéli cellulite procedures, dermal filler and other injectables, their signature Stack treatments and completing in-depth consultation for new patients. Dr. Kumar works as a team with her lead nurse injector Morgan Frankel BSN. Morgan has been personally trained by Dr. Kumar and is available for all microneedling, laser, and Botox procedures. 

One of their most popular services is the Signature Skin! Stack Treatment, which begins with an in-depth consultation and results in a six-month skin treatment plan tailored to each patient’s concerns and desires. This comprehensive plan aims to achieve better, brighter skin tone and texture and correct pigmentation, resulting in a glowing complexion. It is ideal for those that have sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone or texture. After the initial six-month period, patients are put on a maintenance plan.

Another standout treatment at Skin! Medical Aesthetics is Avéli®, an FDA-cleared device for treating cellulite. Skin! Medical Aesthetics is one of four practices in the Denver area that offer this procedure. This in-office procedure, performed with local anesthesia, effectively and permanently releases the dimples caused by fibrous bands tethering the skin to underlying tissues. “We get to the root of the problem, not just providing a bandaid or patchwork solution,” Dr. Kumar explains. This treatment is combined with laser therapy and/or radiofrequency microneedling to address any skin concerns as well. 

In addition to Aveli, the practice offers Hydrafacial, SkinPen microneedling, Sylfirm-X radiofrequency microneedling, Aerolase laser therapy, and injectables like PRP/PRF injections, Botox, dermal fillers, and biostimulators such as Sculptra and Radiesse. Their estheticians provide oxygen facials, lash lifts, brow tints, and other brow services. They also offer laser hair removal and IPL laser therapy.
