WHY I READ STROLL

John and Mary

“I think in a neighborhood like ours it’s easy to get lost -- unless you are a member of Capital City Club or knew people before you moved in -- because the homes are further apart and people are very busy. Stroll’s a great way to help people connect, to find out things you might have in common that you didn’t know about.

“I used to live on Club Drive in the 1960s. I went to McClatchey Elementary and W.F. Dykes High School. Our saying was: ‘We’re tough. We’re great. We’re the class of ’68.’ I enjoyed reading one of the articles about someone who had been to McClatchy and seeing all those old pictures.”
