Neighbors Needed to Adopt Parks and Triangles
The Historic Brookhaven Neighborhood Association’s (HBNA’s) Community Maintenance and Enhancement Committee (formerly known as the Beautification Committee) is looking for neighbors to keep an eye on area parks and triangles. The group would like nearby residents to volunteer to alert the committee of downed trees or limbs, obstructions, and any other issues that need attention.
With 13 parks, triangles, and other neighborhood green spaces, it’s challenging for the committee to keep up with problems. Callahan Landscape regularly mows and blows the areas, but often issues arise between their visits.
“We’re looking for neighbors near the parks to adopt and keep an eye out,” says Carole Simpson, who heads the committee. If you can help, contact Carole at csimpsongarden@gmail.com.
