Brookhaven Bible Study supports Union Mission 5K

Seven women from the Brookhaven Bible Study participated in the Atlanta Mission’s annual 5K, which traversed downtown streets on the chilly morning of February 17. Brookhaven Bible Study regularly supports various charities through monetary or item collections, participating in or volunteering at events, and serving dinners.

This is the group’s second project with Atlanta Mission. In December, the women collected items for the mission’s Welcome Home Closet. When clients graduate from Atlanta Mission’s Make Progress program and are ready to move out on their own, the mission gives them new kitchen and bath items from the Welcome Home Closet.

HEAD = CLASS OF 2024! We Need You

Do you have a graduating high school senior? If so, let us know!  Every year, we celebrate high school graduates with a tribute page listing each graduate’s name and high school. If you have a 2024 graduate, we want to be sure to include them in our feature, which runs in the summer.

Send an email with your child’s name and high school to Lisa Wargo at lgwargo@aol.com. Feel free to tell us more about your child, such as special recognitions or college matriculation. We’re proud of how hard our neighborhood kids work and want to recognize them for their achievements!
