William Lybrook

Plays Catcher in the New England Summer Collegiate Baseball League

William Lybrook, a 2020 Westminster Schools graduate and rising senior at Harvard University, spent his summer playing catcher for the MV Sharks. The Sharks are based in Martha’s Vineyard and part of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

The wooden-bat, summer league showcases top college players from across the country. It fields teams in all six New England states and gives players a chance to be exposed to recruiting scouts.

In his junior year at Harvard, Lybrook, who grew up on East Brookhaven Drive, earned Second-Team All-Ivy. He played in 27 games and led the team in home runs during Ivy League play. For the season, he had a batting average of .340 with 25 runs, 32 hits, five doubles, seven home runs, 25 RBIs (runs batted in), and a .413 on-base percentage.
