HEAD = Historic Brookhaven Meal Train Kicks Off

Know a neighbor who recently had a baby or has been sick and could use some Southern love, aka a meal? If so, contact Sarah Cyrus who is spearheading the new Meal Train committee of the Ladies of Historic Brookhaven Social Club.

Neither you nor your neighbor need to be a member of the Social Club. This is just one of the group’s efforts to further community and caring in the neighborhood. Once notified, Sarah will contact the neighbor and set up a meal train link.

“I know this subject is near and dear to many of us, so don’t be shy if you have a need or know someone who would enjoy feeling cared for,” Sarah notes.

Email Sarah at sarahlcyrus@gmail.com. In your email, include the name of the recipient, their address, preferred drop-off dates and times, number of people to feed, favorite and least favorite meals or restaurants, and any allergies or special instructions. Sarah will create a Meal Train schedule and solicit meal volunteers.
