When two local visionary women, Ali Erdel and Beth Wyeth, crossed paths, they built an award-winning microblading studio in the heart of Zionsville. Their success, and that of Arched Studio, is a testament to the hard work and creative skills used to create a brand like no other.  

The journey began seven years ago when Ali was encouraged to try her hand at a relatively new process of permanent makeup called microblading. At that time, she was a newer mom working very hard at her career in Special Education, but her work-life balance was lacking. It was time for a change, and she decided to jump in to the world of permanent makeup with both feet. Ali had a knack for the art and quickly gained many wonderful and happy clients. Those same clients followed her as she set out on her own and built her own business. As word of mouth advertising and social media presence (@arched.by.ali) continued to grow the brand, Ali knew it was time to expand, and she needed a partner.

It was fate when Beth (@framedbybeth) booked an appointment and approached Ali about stepping into the art of permanent makeup herself. Her work life balance also needed a change. She wanted a different and more creative way to serve the public after spending 20 years as a full-time dental hygienist. It was a perfect match. Beth’s expert fine motor skills and chairside manner were a natural fit for microblading, and she instantly gained the confidence and trust of her clients.

Their friendship and partnership grew quickly, and they founded Arched Studio on 1st Street in November 2021. The decor of the studio was designed by local interior designer, Katie Steffel. Thanks to her talented touch, the studio exudes an ambiance of warmth, comfort, and a rock and roll edge that fosters a sense of trust and relaxation for every client who walks through the door. The space feels welcoming and ensures that the experience will be a memorable one. Moreover, Beth and Ali are advocates for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. They implement stringent protocols, ensuring that their studio is not just a place for beauty enhancement but also a sanctuary where clients feel secure and cared for.
