4-5 oz Lemonade

Cooking Instructions                            

In a Tom Collins glass - add ice and mix 2 ounces of Deep Eddy Vodka Sweet Tea and 4-5 ounces of Lemonade then Garnish with a lemon slice. 

What inspired you to make this dish?                            

I love a good theme and what better than The Master's Tournament to celebrate golf, tradition, spring, and warmer weather to come?

My dad took me to the Masters Tournament when I was a senior in high school. I still remember that egg salad sandwich and those gorgeous azaleas. While there is a Signature Cocktail called The Azaela (vodka, grenadine, and lemonade) they serve at Augusta, I prefer the tried & true spiked Arnold Palmer.

I also buy moon pie, toast cheese crackers, and small bag of potato chips and put them on the table with the food.

If you're not lucky enough to be attending the Masters, why not throw a Watch Party?! The menu at Augusta National has been the same for as long as I can remember and is fairly simple. I find most of my "dupe" recipes on Pinterest or in my collection and Junior League of Augusta Cookbooks - recipes like the egg salad sandwich and the pimento cheese sandwich served with potato chips. I also make the Georgia Peach ice cream sandwiches (with peach ice cream and sugar cookies from Kroger bakery). Everyone raves about the Famous Green Jacket Salad I make - I use the recipe from the Green Jacket restaurant in August, GA. The Green Jacket used to be across the street from Augusta Natl but is sadly no longer there. This recipe can be found in Par 3 - Team Time at the Masters.
