Bright N' Shine Pet Dental of Savannah

Arthur and Donna Schreier, originally from South Florida, moved to Savannah to be closer to their daughter and their new grandchild, Jude. Now settled in midtown Savannah, the couple has traded their corporate backgrounds for the fulfilling world of small business ownership, bringing with them a unique and much-needed service for local pet owners: Bright N' Shine Pet Dental.

The idea for Bright N' Shine Pet Dental was born out of a personal experience. Arthur recalls a time in Pompano Beach, Florida when his dog Howie returned from the vet with a hefty $980 bill after a dental cleaning that required anesthesia. Determined to find a safer, less invasive option, Arthur discovered Bright N' Shine Pet Dental online. This company specialized in non-anesthetic dental cleanings for dogs and cats, offering a thorough service at a fraction of the cost. Inspired by this innovative approach, Arthur and Donna decided to bring the franchise to Savannah and the surrounding Low Country area.

Bright N' Shine Pet Dental is a mobile service that provides non-anesthetic dental cleaning for pets right at the client’s doorstep. Their customized van travels to homes, offering a convenient alternative to traditional, costly dental procedures that typically involve anesthesia. What sets Bright N' Shine apart is their commitment to providing a stress-free, safe experience for pets and their owners, with a certified dental technician who has over 15 years of experience ensuring quality care.

In addition to their mobile convenience, Arthur and Donna are dedicated to supporting the local community. They offer discounts to adoption agencies and humane societies, helping to make dental care accessible to more pets. Their goal is not just to serve, but also to educate the community about the importance of pet dental health and the safe alternatives available.

Since launching in Savannah, the Schreiers have steadily grown their client base. In August, they served 45 dogs and 10 cats, and they expected to exceed that, aiming to reach up to 80 pets per month. Arthur and Donna are excited to continue expanding their services, bringing awareness and affordable care to more pet owners throughout the region.
