Strings to Freedom Event
at the Greensboro Country Club
On Sept. 17, 2022, AbolitionNC hosted a charity concert at the Greensboro Country Club.
Entertainment was provided by Synergy Twins, an internationally known electric string duo
based in Greenville, SC. The event had numerous individual and business sponsors, including
Stroll Irving Park and Lake Jeanette, AAA Self Storage, State St. Jewelers, Cam and Margaret
Ann Hall Foundation, and Dean and Marilyn Green.

With the generosity of donors, the organization was able to raise over $80,000 of needed funds!
AbolitionNC is a nonprofit organization based out of Greensboro, NC, with the mission of
combating human trafficking through awareness and prevention education. AbolitionNC
provides its FreewayNC human trafficking curriculum for middle and high school students and
its Protect Our Students educator training on child sexual abuse and trafficking free to NC
districts and schools. Guilford, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Johnston, and Wayne are among the 19
school districts who currently utilize AbolitionNC’s resources. More information about these
