Davy adopted us here at Lake Tanglewood and has been with us for 6 years. Cooper is truly a gift from God and definitely an act of fate/faith. We were looking for a friend for Davy. We went to Petsmart to adopt. We found a cute 6 month old boy but had to wait until Saturday to adopt. We went back and of course, he had already been adopted. We looked around and saw Cooper, a 9-year-old boy. I thought that was Eric's baby's name. (Eric, my nephew, passed away last year. My senior girl had passed the week before, so I just wasn't ready for a new member.) We left for lunch and my mind kept whirling. I made a few calls that made our decision for us. He was Eric's baby who had been returned to Petsmart twice. We went back and adopted Cooper the next day! He is the sweetest boy! He and Davy getting along is a work in progress, but it's getting better each day!
