Embracing Summer, Next Chapters and Community
As we reach the midpoint of July, I hope you are all relishing the wonderful experiences that summer in Wisconsin brings. From cookouts and fireworks to bonfires and summer nights, there's so much to enjoy—dining al fresco, live music, golf, boating, and more. Personally, I’ve been balancing the hustle of summer with two adult children at home, keeping my youngest, MacGuire, entertained, and managing the business. Despite the never-ending to-do list, I am determined to savor every moment of this beautiful season.
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our business partners and our dedicated readers. Producing this magazine each month is no small feat, but it is a labor of love that I approach with dedication and care. While I strive to provide top-quality content, foster connections among our readers, and support our local community, there are inevitable challenges. Your acceptance, belief, and encouragement mean the world to me. Thank you for your grace and understanding when needed—it is truly the lifeblood of this magazine.
Reflecting on the first half of the year, both professionally and personally, I feel a profound sense of accomplishment and sentimentality. With another child graduating and stepping into adulthood, I share the mixed emotions that many parents experience. To all the high school students who embraced me as part of their tribe and sharing their accomplishments, dance photos and graduation pictures, I thank you so much! To all the parents with a son or daughter embarking on their next journey, I stand with you in this emotional time. This month, we celebrate not only our independence but also the achievements of our graduates. Cheers to my own Gavin and all the graduates of 2024—I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
We are thrilled to present our July issue, featuring our newest partner, Paradise North Distillery, Iconic Image, Alpine Garage Doors, Hilly Haven Golf Course and our returning partners, Creative Element Builders and The Heel Shoe Fitters. Be sure to check them out in this issue and follow them on social media to see the fantastic contributions they bring to our community. So, grab a refreshing drink, find a comfortable spot, and enjoy this month's magazine.
Warm regards,
