DonutNV

with Tim and Kristina Raque

The spark behind Tim and Kristina Raque launching DonutNV East Louisville was their passion for sweets, an irresistible opportunity, and a shared vision for crafting joyful experiences. “The idea of creating hot, fresh mini donuts through an interactive mobile food trailer, complemented by the enhancement of LED-lit viewing, resonated deeply with us,” they told us. Aligning with DonutNV's renowned franchise and serving Louisville's dynamic community of food enthusiasts fueled their passion to turn their dream into a SWEET reality.

DonutNV's dynamic fusion of culinary spectacle and interactive entertainment sets it apart. Their mobile trailer offers a captivating window into the creation of hot, fresh mini donuts, making every bite a visual delight. Complemented by a range of refreshing fruit lemonades and premium coffee, their commitment to crafting extraordinary experiences redefines indulgence on the move. They might even surprise some guests with their mascot DONUT DUDE!

Tim and Kristina were drawn to the industry's potential to bring people together in a unique way and create moments of joy. They were driven by the desire to showcase the essence of entrepreneurship to their two daughters. Crafting hot, fresh mini donuts isn't just about delectable treats; it's a way for them to instill values of dedication, community, and the boundless possibilities that come with pursuing one's passion.

The Raques have lived in Lake Forest for twelve years. Kristina was born and raised in Louisville. She grew up in the Highlands and attended Assumption High School. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky, although she cheers for the Louisville Cardinals! Tim was born here, but spent most of his childhood in Southern California, later moving to the small town of Williamsport, PA. He also attended the University of Kentucky, but the couple didn’t meet each other until after college back in Louisville. They have two beautiful daughters, Lilly (9) and Samantha (7). Both girls attend St. Patrick School and are passionate about the Lake Forest swim & dive teams during the summer months. The girls are excited about this new business adventure and are already planning which parties they want Donut Dude to show up to!

Tim and Kristina have learned some things along this journey. They say, “Embrace your passion as you venture into entrepreneurship. Let it drive your determination and innovation. Engage with your community. Learn from challenges. And, involve your family's support to create a foundation for success.”
