Say Hello to Bash!

The Teets Family's Siberian Husky

Bash isn’t just any Siberian Husky—he’s the four-legged social butterfly of the neighborhood. At six years old, this gentle boy has never met a dog he didn’t want to befriend. Whether it's a towering Great Dane or a tiny Chihuahua, Bash is always ready for a game of chase. His favorite hangouts? Beckley Park’s scenic trails and the peaceful paths around Lake Forest’s lodge ponds.

Despite his striking wolf-like appearance, Bash is all heart. His friendly nature wins over everyone he meets—especially if they happen to be on all fours. His charm isn’t just reserved for fellow canines; he turns heads wherever he goes. It’s no surprise that onlookers can’t resist stopping for a second glance at this handsome pup.

Like any dog with good taste, Bash has a soft spot for treats—especially dog ice cream. But he’s not picky; he’s happy to enjoy a bite of leftover meat or veggies from the Teets family dinner table.

Bash isn’t much of a barker, but there was one hilarious exception. One day, a baby fox boldly approached the backyard fence and started yipping at him. Curious but unfazed, Bash responded with a rare series of barks—something his family almost never hears! Alex Teets did a quick Google search which confirmed what they had just learned firsthand: yes, foxes do bark!

At home, Bash is part of a lively pack. He has a little sister, Aria, a 22-month-old “skin puppy,” as he might call her. Then there’s Louie, the eight-year-old black cat who runs the household. Bash has learned (the hard way) to respect Louie’s authority—after a few well-placed swipes to the nose, he knows who’s really in charge.

With his playful spirit, gentle heart, and striking good looks, Bash is a beloved member of the family!
