Feb
Celebrating 100 years of Greenland Hills, we were introduced to Pat Copley, an original homeowner in the M Streets. Between vintage photos and Pat’s story of growing up and everything she remembers growing up on the M Streets, this was definitely a special feature story.
We also met the precious pets of the month, Thomas and Evan, who were dropped off one chilly morning on Kay’s doorstep! What an adorable story!

March
Commemorating a woman's best friend, Jennifer DeVore sees and falls in love with a photo of Boyd on Facebook! Sharing these moments with the neighborhood is what Stroll is all about!
Ann and Mark Patton graciously shared their Labrador, Ollie with us, and we also loved the highlights from Dallas Children’s Theatre and their production of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.

April
Love is in the April air! Andrie Meiring was wooed not only by then fiance, Bryan, but their pups developed a special bond as well! Congratulations on getting married last year from your Stroll family!! Adrienne Santaularia also shared her incredible Croatia trip and photos with us.

May
In honor of Mother’s Day, we featured the Mockingbird Early Childhood PTO. As a non-profit founded by moms in our community, we were thrilled to honor them and this wonderful organization!. We also congratulated all of our 2023 graduates and met the beautiful golden retriever, Nori.

June
Celebrating dads this month we highlighted the Mockingbird Dad’s Club which actually includes much more than dads!! These uncles, grandpas, brothers, stepdad, Godfathers, and more believe in our community kids and put their belief into action! We also got to meet Olive, the neighborhood celebrity cat! Have you seen and taken a selfie with Olive?

July
Arden Showalter, mother of 5 successful children, was a delight to get to know in the July issue! Living in our community since the 90s, her story is especially meaningful to Stroll readers. We also got to meet Coco Mademoiselle, who was adopted after love at first photo, and had the pleasure of reading a resident review on the local business, Heyday!

August
John Crawley, wife Michele, and a love for writing! August showed us this talented resident and his newest endeavor about the plight of the African Elephant. We also had the pleasure of meeting Tux, the wild, outdoor kitten, turned inside lover! In our Making a Difference column, Kathleen Seacat shared her efforts to help migrants feel safe, welcome, and cared for!

September
Happy 100th Anniversary of our neighborhood!! Breaking ground in 1918, Bennett farm was subdivided in 1923 to create the Greenland Hills development. What a wonderful time to celebrate not only our neighborhood but our cohesive and loving community. We also got to meet Apollo and hear his endearing story of finding his forever home, and share back-to-school photos for our young ones! In Making a Difference, we learned about Not One More Vet, and how to help and encourage veterinarians and veterinary students!

October
Bean, the indoor-only, Cadillac of cats won our hearts by pointing his adorable toe beans at the camera, and we were also introduced to resident Ben Hoopes and his impressive repertoire of hobbies and adventures!

November
Learning about a family’s dedication to clean water through origami was thrilling! This organization empowers our youth to bring clean and safe water to communities worldwide. They have raised millions of dollars and created an extraordinary family bond as well. We also met Birdie, the goofy bug-hunting, and toddler-taming dog! Discovering zen, we also got to experience the travel tale of a Japanese spa oasis.

December
We received some new design trends heading into the New Year, shared our neighborhood Halloween photos, met Giulia, the well-known and well-loved Siberian husky, and were able to go on a visual journey celebrating the Greenland Hills 100-year milestone. We were able to tour 6 houses that each share a story representing the architectural splendor of our remarkable neighborhood!
