On Saturday, February 11, Miromar Lakes residents and sponsors gathered to raise funds for 14 nurses in the pediatric ICU at Golisano Children's Hospital,  where they raised $19,750 for the care and support of these nurses and their families.  Jon & Dina Skaff opened their home to the attending residents offering delectable bites and beverages and SWFL Children's Charities managed the SWFL Cares Relief Fund.  

These medical professionals lost everything and most are not being covered by their insurance. They were and are here to support our growing children's hospital and want to continue to do that but are finding it difficult to care for them under the circumstances.
