Hi there, friends and neighbors! My name is Hogan, and I’m a male Labradoodle. I’m only a year-and-a-half old, and I love living with Evan and Joy Hugall here in Moore’s Mill.

 

Evan and Joy both grew up with labs, and they knew that they wanted a dog. However, they didn't want a dog that would shed. While they were visiting with friends, they met their friends’ labradoodle and fell in love with him. They got me from the same breeder, Yankee Doodles, in 2021. We have been a happy family ever since!

 

Evan wanted to name me after the golfer, Ben Hogan. Joy thought that Hogan Hugall was a really cute name for me, and the rest is history!

 

Here are some things I think you should know about me: I’m sweet and loving, but also a little goofy. My favorite place to sit is on Evan and Joy’s laps. Did I mention that I weigh fifty-five pounds? I love snuggling, riding in the car, and eating my favorite treat—ice cubes! I also protect my house from invading squirrels and chipmunks.

 

I think my parents love me because I’m happy to be around people, but I also enjoy my quiet time. I have big, humanlike eyes, and I will sit with my paws crossed like a gentleman. I also excitedly greet my parents when they get home, which is always the best part of my day!

 

I love my parents too. They feed me, scratch me under my ears, take me out, and snuggle with me. If that doesn’t define the best parents in Moore’s Mill, then I don’t know what does!

 

I love living in Moore's Mill! My house is on a hill, so I watch my neighbors and their dogs walk by. I’m the neighborhood watchdog, but I wouldn’t hurt a fly. So, if you see me on a walk, feel free to come over and pet me. If you scratch me behind my ears, we’ll be friends forever!
