BeLocal Foothills is a publication that goes to new movers every month to help them acclimate to the area. It has recommendations for locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, retail establishments, parks, hiking trails, and much more. You may know that the BeLocal Bear has been active in the community and seen all over the area. You may not know that the BeLocal Bear actually lives in the Moore's Ferry neighborhood! Like a superhero that changes from a mild-mannered person into a protector, the BeLocal Bear changes from a mild-mannered Moore's Ferry neighbor into a lovable bear that has a mission of helping local businesses, assisting newcomers in finding the best local places to frequent and helping us all learn about this wonderful area that we call home.

With this in mind, we have decided to hold a fun contest in which you can guess who the person behind the bear is. The first ten to guess correctly will receive gift certificates to Tastebuds Popcorn!
