Josh and I were visiting family in Knoxville, TN and found Nixon and a puppy shop there. We knew he was meant to go home with us when we saw him. We had the hardest time coming up with a name, and one of our family members suggested "Knox" because he was from Knoxville. Nixon popped into our heads, and it seemed like a better fit.

He loves his frisbee.  Even as he has gotten older, he can still catch it every time!  If you hold his frisbee up and act like you are going to throw it, you have to act fast or else he will bark at you until you do or jump up and grab it out of your hand!

Nixon has always been the sweetest dog with our two boys. He plays and acts just like another one of our children. He is always trying to protect them around the pool to ensure they are okay when swimming. He will circle the pool and constantly watch them. If anything were to go wrong, he would let us know! 

Nixon is very spoiled! While we can't spoil him too much with treats due to his diabetes, we make up for it with plenty of cuddles and playtime! He has to live an active lifestyle with our two boys in our house, keeping him young!

Nixon was our first baby, and I don't think any of us would know what to do without him!
