Elegance in Every Sip: A Magical Night at TCCMV’s Veuve Clicquot Champagne Dinner
Sean Fyffe, Food and Beverage Director at TCCMV and Level 2 Sommelier
On Saturday, August 24, The Country Club at Muirfield Village hosted its most anticipated wine dinner of the year: the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Dinner. Dressed in all white, TCCMV members indulged in an evening of exquisite cuisine and world-class champagne, making it a night to remember.
What truly set this evening apart was the presence of Carolina Zarate, Senior Brand Manager at Veuve Clicquot, who flew in from New York City to share her deep knowledge and passion for the legendary champagne house. Her stories of Veuve Clicquot’s rich heritage and iconic wines brought an added layer of sophistication to the night.
Executive Chef Michael Koenig and his culinary team wowed guests with a masterfully crafted seven-course menu, featuring the freshest, most luxurious ingredients—each dish perfectly paired with Veuve’s finest champagnes. Meanwhile, Sean Fyffe, our food and beverage director, and his team ensured that every moment was seamless, delivering impeccable service throughout the evening.
As the night wound to a close, excitement was already building for the next wine dinner. Members are eagerly awaiting the Shafer Wine Dinner, where extraordinary wines from Shafer Vineyards will create another unforgettable dining experience.
