Isla Ann Ayers

Welcome to the Neighborhood!

What Best Describes You? Grandparent of Little Stroller

Why was the name chosen?
Isla’s parents were stuck between two names for her. They wrote the two options on tennis balls and threw the balls at their dog, Kiwi. Whichever tennis ball she brought back is what her name would be! Isla was the winner.

Can you share the date the newest member joined the family?
August 12

What were the baby's weight and length measurements at birth?
7lb 14oz and 20.5 in long

Please share the names of the proud parents/siblings of this new arrival.
Christian and Jonathan Ayers.  And their Doberman, Kiwi

What is the Little Stroller's favorite lullaby or song?
Her favorite song is “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra or “The Vacuum Cleaner” on YouTube.

How would you describe the Little Stroller's personality in one word?
Hard to say at 3 months old - definitely Sweet!

Do you want to share any sweet or funny anecdotes about the Little Stroller?
Isla spends each Tuesday with her grandparents, JD and Diane Davis (it's their favorite day of the week!). She loves strolling around the neighborhood and exploring (when not snoozing) our fabulous neighborhood. Isla loves spending time with her mom, dad, and dog, Kiwi. Their favorite family day is Sunday because they all watch the NFL and order pizza.

Did the baby receive, or already have, any specific keepsakes or gifts with sentimental value or a special story behind them?
Isla’s mom teaches at Sacred Heart Academy, and one of the nuns (Sister Lorna) crocheted Isla a beautiful baby blanket!

Is there anything else that you would like to share?
We are looking forward to our future NoCo adventures with Isla as she grows...tackling the playgrounds, splashing in the pools, and sampling the neighborhood cuisine!
