Who is in your family? Dad-Antonino a/k/a Tony; Mom-Lisa; Sister-Julianna a/k/a Jules; Identical Twin brother, Anthony; Nanny and Poppy (Anne and Tony, my mom’s parents)

 

How long have you lived in the neighborhood? We moved from Parsippany, NJ, in June 2021. This is my new chapter, and I’m in “Florida Heaven,” no more cold New Jersey winters! I love it here!

 

What is your favorite thing about Oakland Park? Nature walks; I love watching birds, turtles, alligators, bees, snakes, Geckos, and other bugs; I enjoy riding my bike on the West Orange Trail and saying hello to my new neighbors.

 

What’s your favorite food:  Pizza and Pasta. I enjoy making pizza with my Pop. I also enjoy making English muffin mini pizzas! My Nanna makes the best meatballs, pasta, and sauce, which we eat every Sunday!

 

Do you have a job? YES, at AXUM Coffee Roastery located at the Plant Street Market, I bag coffee beans and seal the bags. I love that I can bike to work on the West Orange Trail and love my job!

 

What is your favorite thing about the work you do? Sealing the coffee bags, seeing my Axum friends, and saying hi to customers.

 

What are your favorite things to do when you have free time? Riding my bike to RITAS, my favorite flavor is Appleberry-blue; nature walks observing bees and ants, playing Lego Star Wars, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Going to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, listening to Frank Sinatra, Mammas and Pappas, and The Beach Boys; and I enjoy acting in my studio apartment in my new home! 

 

What is something people should know about you? I have an identical twin brother named Anthony; I love riding big Roller Coasters, and my favorite coasters are Exhibition Everest at Animal Kingdom and Skyrush at Hershey Park, PA.

 

What makes you laugh? Jon Taffer on Bar Rescue and Disney’s Hyperspace Hoopla

 

What is your favorite movie and holiday:  My favorite movie is: Rise of Skywalker; Halloween is my favorite holiday as I enjoy wearing costumes and getting into character; I have a great “evil laugh,” which I would love to share with you!

 

Anything else you want to share about yourself:  I’m an animal lover and like petting the dogs in the community; I plan to volunteer at a local animal Shelter, Polka Dogz; I enjoy watching NASCAR races, and I’m going to the Daytona 500  this year for the first time! It’s my dream to work at Disney’s Animal Kingdom someday.

 

What is a strength/gift you have:  I am very visual and can see tiny details that you may not see. I love observing bees pollinating on the flowers. The bees are friendly and like me, and I’m not afraid to have them crawl on my hand or foot; I’m a nature guy, and some people call me the “Bee Whisperer.”
