Blake, Chelsea, and their sons Vasker (5) and Buckley (3) are a beloved part of our community. They were one of the first families featured on our magazine cover seven years ago when it first launched! Since then, they have loved every minute in Oakmont Estates.

The Baucums love exploring local parks, especially Vintage, and dining at favorites like The Plaza and Anna's on Indiana. Vacationing is a family favorite, with trips to Crested Butte, CO, and Miramar Beach, FL, creating lasting memories.

Blake and Chelsea met through mutual friends and have now been married for nine years. They both graduated from Texas Tech University and have made Oakmont their home for the past seven years, where they cherish the friendly community and close neighbors.

Their boys are also quite active, with Vasker recently finishing his first season of PGA Junior League golf and Buckley soon joining sports next spring. The Baucum family tradition includes attending Christmas Eve service at First United Methodist Church, while Blake stays involved with the greens committee at Lubbock Country Club, and Chelsea volunteers at their children's school.
