Meet Boo, the Sneaky Snuggler of the Wideman Family
Boo, the Wideman family's 9-year-old Devon Rex, is a sweet and gentle lady with a flair for nighttime snuggles. This soft and affectionate cat loves to make her rounds each night, ensuring everyone in the family gets some cuddle time before bed. Her devoted, playful nature is what makes her a cherished member of the family.
Boo joined the Widemans as a special Easter gift for the boys, along with her brother Devon, whom they affectionately named Bones. In a nod to their love for Halloween, both cats were given spooky names, and Boo has embraced her mysterious persona ever since.
One of Boo’s most notorious habits is her talent for hiding in secret places—so well, in fact, that she often sends the family into full-fledged panic mode. There have been multiple hours-long searches both inside and outside the house, even leading the family to search the car and post to lost and found websites, fearing the worst. After all that stress, Boo will nonchalantly reappear, acting as if she’s been in plain sight all along, leaving everyone wondering how she manages to disappear so completely.
Being the queen of the house, Boo is also quite spoiled. She refuses to drink water from anything but the faucet and will meow loudly to let you know she’s thirsty, even if it’s 3 a.m.! The family knows better than to deny her, as she has everyone well-trained to meet her royal demands.
Whether it’s snuggling up at night or causing a bit of harmless mischief, Boo’s quirky and lovable nature makes her an irreplaceable part of the Wideman family.
