Meet Stormy. Stormy is a Quaker Parrot, a new family member to Lisa, Tim, Kate and Olivia Breaux.  The two girls, Olivia and Kate, have had her for only 6 months. This is Olivia’s first pet and they decided that it would be a great first pet. In addition to that, Stormy can live up to 30 years so she really is a long term pet. Stormy is a gray parrot whose coloring resembles storm clouds. They also like to talk about her mood based upon whether if it's a clear sky, “happy girl” or clouds, “fussy mood.” Stormy can’t quite say full words or phrases, but in about 1-2 years she should be. 

 

Taking care of the parrot can be difficult, but overall they just really need a ton of attention. They are constantly buying her toys and making sure she can roam free. The family loves talking to her and playing with her. They even let Stormy in the backyard! She is full of personality and she loves being around people. Olivia and Kate are sure to have so much fun with Stormy as she continues to grow.
