Catch a Falling Star with Kylo Ren
He’s Kentucky born with his eyes turned to the stars. Some say that’s why he sleeps upside down — so he doesn’t miss any action in the sky or at his home on Persimmon Ridge Drive.
Named for a Star Wars character, Kylo Ren was adopted in 2020 by Erica, Leon, Maebry, Paxton and Crosby Norris. Kylo loves his family and their home on Persimmon Ridge Drive. This Bernedoodle spends his days playing with family members, hoping they will pet him, and, if they stop, he will “paw” them until they pet him more. He also enjoys running with the kids. Erica Norris describes their game of catch: “Kylo will leap over the sofa table and the back of the couch onto the couch to “catch” his family playmates.”
Kylo has a favorite place in their home. If the senior member of the family, Leon Norris, is working from home, you will find Kylo right beside him on a huge bean bag chair. Kylo shares his affection with everybody. If you ever see him out in the yard or walking with the family, he will stop to greet you and, if permitted, shower you with wet kisses.
Erica shared the family’s history with dogs. “Before Kylo, we had a sweet Great Dane named Lincoln. When we lost Lincoln in July 2020, it wasn’t long before we realized that something was missing in our lives. In August 2020, we found Kylo on a farm in central Kentucky and brought him home. Kylo brought even more love into our home. Then, as Covid rolled on, we were still at home a lot and Kylo was the missing piece after we lost Lincoln.”
If you want to chase a star, or, catch wet kisses, stop by the Norris Home on Persimmon Ridge Drive and meet Kylo Ren.
