Caps Off to Our Grads
From the first day of kindergarten to the final walk across the graduation stage, these grads (and others) have left their mark on Persimmon Ridge. To all of our graduates, we see you, and we celebrate you!
Drew Ballard
Eminence High School
Bellarmine University
We are extremely proud of Drew aka Dewey, our monkey in the middle! Ever since he was a baby, we referred to him as little old man because he is an old soul. Mature beyond his years. His goals, his dreams have always been BIG just like his imagination and creativity. Drew has attended Bellarmine University for the last two years. He was a part time college student last year during his junior year of high school and this year he is a full time college student as a senior. We were very excited when he decided to continue his education at Bellarmine University in the fall as an “actual” college student! His major is premed and would like to become a trauma surgeon. What mom and dad wouldn’t be proud of that!?!
Daniel Brooks

Daniel was on the president's Honor Roll every semester in school. He played lacrosse for St. X and also plays guitar. Daniel is going to UofK in the fall to pursue a degree in finance. Through an essay contest, Daniel was awarded a $30,000 scholarship from the William C Parker Belonging Scholarship Program. Congratulations Daniel!
Josie Brooks
Male High School
University of Louisville
Daniel's twin, Josie, is graduating from Male High School. She is on the lacrosse team at Male. Josie is an Honor Roll student. She is headed to UofL to pursue a degree in nursing with hopes of becoming a labor and delivery nurse.
Ashlee Isaac
Christian Academy of Louisville
UK or WKU - still deciding
Ashlee has been a lifer at CAL since pre-k. In the early years, we enjoyed watching her play volleyball and Drama performances to winning awards in Western Riding, playing field hockey and working part-time in high school. The global pandemic added stress and the uncertainty was challenging but now she has grown stronger, confident and more resilient as she is getting ready to embark on her college journey. We are so proud of her growth, resilience and her faith that pushes her to keep moving forward. Ashlee is making her own path and learning how to balance between her way and the way of those around her. Witnessing how she supports her cherished friendships and relationships with others is a true joy. Seize your future and continue to shine brightly our Amazing Ashlee! Love Mom & Dad
