Canelé is ready to find her forever home! This petite 11 lb, 6 1/2-year-old Shih Tzu mix is as sweet as can be. She loves to snuggle—whether with a person or another dog—and would do best in a home with a canine companion who enjoys occasional playtime but is also content just hanging out. She is potty trained and does well in the house without needing a kennel. Mealtime is one of her favorite parts of the day, and she will let out the cutest little barks while waiting for her food. She is a superstar when it comes to grooming and baths! She would do best in a home where she cuddles in bed with a human or on the couch with another dog.

Rescue Row is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) all-volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, and committed permanent homes following a comprehensive adoption process. Dogs in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes.
