Northwest Arkansas has welcomed an exciting new business to the community—Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. With a focus on plant-based, locally handcrafted products, Magnolia brings a fresh approach to skincare, bath essentials, home goods, and more.

Owners Michelle and Brad, originally from Iowa, have called Northwest Arkansas home for over 25 years. They’ve watched the region flourish and saw a growing need for high-quality, chemical-free personal care products. Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. meets that demand with its phthalate-free, domestically sourced ingredients, offering everything from hand and dish soap to skincare, pet products, and home essentials.

More than just a store, Magnolia is an experiential lifestyle brand. Customers can personalize their products by selecting from over 70 scents, colors, and exfoliating add-ins, making each creation truly unique. Additionally, Magnolia offers interactive experiences like soap pouring, candle pouring, bath and shower steamer parties, and a paint-a-bath bomb activity for kids.

Though gearing up for their Grand Opening in late April or early May, Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. is already making waves in the community. They recently participated in the Osage House Bridal Open House event and generously donated a beautiful giveaway basket for Stroll Pinnacle’s March Social Hour at Ashleigh Wine and Sake Lounge. They've also donated baskets to NWA Oncology Nursing Society Vendor Fair and to the Osage House.

The Magnolia brand was originally founded by Magen Bynum in 2016, inspired by her search for safe, plant-based soaps for her daughter’s sensitive skin. Today, the brand’s mission remains the same: to provide luxurious, handcrafted products that promote well-being while supporting community initiatives, such as the Hope in Soap program benefiting local causes.

Michelle, who recently retired from Bentonville Schools after 10 years of teaching, is thrilled to embark on this new journey. With strong family roots in the area—including their daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren—she and Brad are committed to making Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. a trusted name in Northwest Arkansas.
