Masters Petersens Flooring & Design | Coming Home

“It’s good to be back in Windsor; it felt a whole lot like coming home. This is where we’re meant to be,” said Rick Owen, Owner of Masters Petersens Flooring & Design. “Windsor is a great community, and we’re proud to partner with the people and businesses in this region.”

Masters was founded in Windsor in 2008 and has served Northern Colorado ever since. In 2012, they expanded and purchased Petersens Flooring, combining the two companies to create Masters Petersens Flooring & Design. Together, they’ve become a local leader in flooring and design services. Several years ago, the team moved its operations to Fort Collins in search of a bigger commercial space.

In 2020, they moved back to Windsor. “With the growth of Windsor, we just felt like it was time to come back,” Rick explained. “We took the chance to open an amazing showroom and ground ourselves here. We’re so glad we made the move. We’re home.”

When it comes to floors, Masters Petersens offers a masterclass experience for both residential and commercial projects. Masters prides itself on top-notch products and seamless installs. They’re a full-service provider with tile, carpet, hardwood, and luxury vinyl options. They also offer boutique and individualized design services to help customers find products that match their tastes and needs. Installation is done in-house and overseen by the team; each job is completed to their high standards. The Masters Petersons' showroom, located near the intersection of Eastman Park Drive and Highway 257 in Windsor, allows customers to see and imagine all options upfront.

In the two years since they’ve been back in Windsor, the team has grown right along with the business. They’ve reorganized the staff and added several new key players to ensure that their customers and projects are taken care of in a way that aligns with Masters Petersens’ core values.

Jessica Nix serves as the Integrator. She handles all the day-to-day business management and takes care of the team. Ashley Sample is a new hire, joining the team as a Business Development lead. Her role centers around helping the business grow. Brenda Young serves as the Controller.

Keri Andre provides one-on-one design consultation for all clients. Zach Adams is the team’s Senior Pre-Construction Manager, responsible for all the planning and preparation that goes into every job. Rebecca Fitzsimmons is the team’s Project Coordinator, making sure that clients receive detailed communication and projects run seamlessly.

Drew Talbot, Mike Ronzio, and Scott Brantley are the Field Managers on the Masters Petersens team. They oversee onsite work for all the projects, helping to maintain their high standards of installation. Megan Garber, the Materials Manager, is responsible for managing their 15,000 sqft warehouse, where they store all project-related materials.

Last year, Masters Petersens Flooring & Design made another big move! They opened a second location in Cheyenne, Wyoming to expand their reach and offer flooring to another region. The move has proved to be smart for both their business and the clients they serve. Dani Winslow heads up the projects for the Cheyenne office.

Combined, the Masters Petersens Flooring & Design team has decades of experience. “We’re very team-oriented people,” Rick said. “They all work hard to make sure our customers are satisfied. This team lives our core values and always does the right thing.”

The Masters Petersens team is also very engaged in the community. They support local schools and are members of the Chamber of Commerce. They’ve recently provided flooring for area schools, including the Hollister Lake Elementary School, the renovation at Roosevelt High School, and the new Peetz Plateau School.
