Blingle of Northern Colorado is an outdoor lighting company, serving all of Northern Colorado and Cheyenne. They specialize in lighting solutions including residential/commercial permanent track/holiday lighting (Gemstone and Oelo brands), landscape lighting, and design, installation and take down of wedding/event lighting and decor, and holiday lighting and decor for Christmas, Hanukkah, Halloween, and more.

 

Philip Schuyler, Owner of Blingle of Northern Colorado, has always been an outdoorsy person. When he ran across this franchise opportunity, he knew it was what our region needed. “Lights can make such a big difference for a home or space,” he said. “I love the idea of helping people improve their yards and homes in such a tangible way. Not to mention, lighting technology has come a long way in the last 20 years, so it’s so cool to see what we can do.”

 

Blingle of Northern Colorado opened in October of 2022. In that time, they’ve lit hundreds of homes/businesses with outdoor lighting and have provided holiday joy to many more. “Outdoor lights are what we do, and what we do well,” Philip said.

 

Shortly after opening the company, Philip met Cory and hired him right away. Cory is an experienced leader with a construction-industry business ownership background. There’s not a lighting need that he can’t find a solution for. Cory now handles the day-to-day operations for the company including relationship and project management.

 

“One thing that sets us apart is the fact that we’re local, and also backed by a national brand. When it comes to lighting, companies come and go, but with us, you know that you’re working with a solid company. We have insurance, we have the skills, and we take care of our customers,” Philip added.

 

“Our biggest priority is customer service,” Cory said. “We answer our calls, and we show up with a smile on our face – when we say we will. That’s so simple, but it’s also really rare these days. We’re proud to do things right.”

 

The thing that makes Blingle shine is their commitment to our community. They offer complementary lighting services to local nonprofit organizations for events and holiday lighting for their facilities. They have provided lighting for Realities for Children, Hope Lives, Frontier House and Habitat for Humanity. It doesn’t stop with lights though; Cory serves on the Advisory Board for Frontier House in Greeley and Philip is a Board Member and the acting Treasurer for the Bankers Foundation of Colorado. He also provides financial mentorship to emerging entrepreneurs through the Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute.

 

“Phil’s commitment to philanthropy is actually what sold me on this job,” said Cory. “I could have worked for any company in the construction or home improvement space, but what Phil is doing with Blingle is unheard of. I knew I wanted to be a part of supporting our community and the nonprofits who do incredible things here.”

 

In addition to bringing Blingle to Northern Colorado, Philip is an Accounting Partner at Fortner Bayens, PC. This helps Blingle run with a service-first model. Philip enjoys being outdoors, hiking, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with loved ones.

 

Cory is married to Jillian, and they have two dogs, Obi-Wan and Anakin, and a cat, General Grievous (GG for short). Cory is a dedicated bodybuilder and personal fitness coach. He enjoys traveling and being outside. Cory is also very handy and tackles home improvement projects regularly.
