Activities/Hobbies: Keeping up with our kids, traveling, anything outdoors, spending time with family and friends, enjoying a good meal and working out!  

Park/Play area/Hang out: The pool or lake 

Restaurants: Our favorite meal in Austin was at Lutie’s!

Vacation destination: We enjoy anywhere with a view, but mostly drawn to the beach

Sports teams: Horns and ‘Stros all day! 

TV Show/Movie: We love a good movie night with the fam and showing our kids old movies from our childhood. The Sandlot is definitely one that has stuck with them

Music: We love all kinds of music and any chance to see it live!

Family dinner: Stuffed Shells are a favorite in our house

 

Do you have any family traditions? We definitely value experiences over things so we try to incorporate that into all our holidays and celebrations throughout the year. 

 

What college/university did you attend? Chase graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and Tia graduated from Texas A&M University and Houston Christian University for her Master’s degree. 

 

Where are you originally from? Houston, Texas

 

How long have you lived in this neighborhood? A little over 3 years 

 

What do you like to do to relax? Finding downtime in between all the things is rare,  but lounging, playing games and swimming at home is how we love to recharge. 

 

How are you involved in the community?

We both have had the opportunity to volunteer Coach our kid’s teams at LTYA and have really loved being a part of their growth. We’ve also loved being a part of local, non-profit organizations like A Kind Hart Foundation and Center for Child Protection, which are doing real work to make sure we’re taking care of the people around us - especially our youth. 

Eli keeps busy with all the sports year-round through LTYA, with his favorites being baseball and basketball. He just finished his first season of select baseball and loves the challenges of kid-pitch! 

Gemma dances competitively for West Austin Dance Academy and has been blessed with the most amazing and supportive team we could ask for! She loves performing! She also does Tumbling and Cheer. 

 

What is your favorite part about living in your neighborhood? You can’t beat those hill country views, being so close to the lake and the sunsets are something else! We also love the people - we get to live near lifelong friends and have added some new and amazing friends to our tribe - people that have welcomed us with open arms, loved on our kids and just make life better!
