Solid As a Rock
Tri City Rock has stood the test of time. Stefany Doukas, owner of Tri City Rock, shares, “My
father established the business in 1984.” She was determined to carry on his legacy and started working at the business in 2004.
“I mentored under my father for 12 years,” she comments. In 2016, she stepped into the
position of president when her father took a step back from the daily operations. At this time,
her husband Tim returned to the family business to run the concrete operations. Just 5 years
ago, Stefany and her husband Tim acquired ownership of the business after her father’s
passing.
“The biggest draw for me is carrying on my dad’s legacy,” she points out. “I watched him build
this business from the ground up. I have a unique love for rocks, concrete, and aggregates
because I grew up in this environment. I am honored that he trusted my and my husband to
carry on the business he so proudly built.”
The business is solid as a rock, growing since its inception. Now Stefany and Tim are up to 26
employees, which continues to expand over the years.
When it comes to choosing rocks, choose a company that excels in quality service and customer satisfaction. “We have a strong reputation for excellent customer service in the area,” says Stefany. “We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality of products while remaining
competitively priced.”
As a family-owned business, Tri City Rock values giving back to the community. “It’s very
rewarding to provide a service that our customers can rely on and in return feel the continuous
support of the community that has helped to grow us into what we are today.”
Comprehensive Services
Tri City Rock specializes in high-quality materials for their clients. “Ready-mix concrete is our
bread and butter,” explains Stefany. “We specialize in delivering ready mix concrete to the
residential community. No job is too big or too small.”
While they don’t handle installations, they refer customers to trusted contractors who can
provide the service to handle backyard projects professionally.
They have all sorts of options, including aggregates and decorative rock for any landscaping
needs, soil mix for any planting need, sod and artificial turf. If you’re looking for flagstone,
boulders (moss rock), bricks, blocks, or pavers, the team at Tri City Rock has you covered.
Mulch and ground cover can also be found here.
“The only thing we do not sell is the plants themselves,” says Stefany.
Top Tips
If you’re looking to tackle a backyard project, don’t try to do it alone. “There are some projects
that should be trusted to the experts,” Stefany advises. “Some homeowners try to cut costs by
taking on backyard projects themselves, only to have a contractor come in and demolish their
work to start over.” When it comes to DIY projects, some are best left to the professionals.
“People often don’t know that we are open to the public and trust their landscapers or
contractors to help make the decisions for them and never visit us directly,” she says.
“Homeowners can look at products, pull samples, and bring them to their yard to see how they
fit. We allow sample bags, and small pieces of flagstone can be taken home to help with
decision-making.”
Open to the Public
Tri City Rock is here and open to the public. “We encourage people to stop in and see what we
have,” Stefany says. “We can connect homeowners with reputable contractors and help them
cut out the middleman when selecting materials.” They are a resource for homeowners and
contractors alike.
Tri City Rock has been in its current location at 43157 Osgood Road since 1994. Stop by and see everything they have to offer! You’ll be glad that you did.
