We had a great puppy playdate for our neighborhood in August, hosted by PETquoson, Poquoson's number one dog and cat boutique since 2022! They're a great place to support local (it's family-owned) and owner Leanne has a passion for pets. The boutique is beautiful and a wonderful place to shop, and you'll be welcomed each time by a friendly person who would love to help you find the exact perfect product for your furry friend. 

They offer premium dog and cat products including high-quality food, health and beauty products, treats, toys, grooming accessories, and more. They also have a beautiful outdoor space with a large private play park and outdoor wash stations for your pups, and you can even book a birthday "paw-ty" package if you'd like to celebrate your dog -- tent, tables, chairs, decorations, and play park time all included! 

For our neighborhood event, RM residents and magazine partners could bring by their pups for dog ice cream tastings and running around the dog park, complete with cooling pools, toys, tunnels, and lots of good things to sniff. The dogs enjoyed running around with each other, and owners could also shop the wide selection of dog and cat items inside. We also had a raffle and winners won their own container of peanut butter or carob doggie ice cream! Thanks to everyone who came out, including our Stroll Running Man partners Robin and Chrisopher with AirGuard Mechanical LLC, another great local Poquoson business! 

We loved the dog park because it was so big, had plenty of areas for shade, and there was so much for the pups to do. If you haven't been yet, definitely put it on your list to check out.
