The Salisbury Mothers Club Introduces Extension Program: Salisbury Mothers Club 2.0!
L-R: Jennifer McNinch and Jenny Salinas-Borrero make plans for the Salisbury Mothers Club 2.0 launch!
Are you a mother who is 45+ years old, you've raised children, yet now you're in the stage of life where you still desire a social space to make meaningful connections and forge new outlets for personal growth?
Members of the Salisbury Mothers Club are creating an extension of the club to add further outlets for socialization and other opportunities for the women in Salisbury and beyond. We’re excited to introduce Salisbury Mothers Club 2.0! We can’t wait to keep our community united, support each other, and help one another stay strong and joyful.
We invite you to join us in expanding our community of moms. We envision this extension group to comprise women who find themselves beyond the baby years. Women who may be, but are not limited to, 45+ years old. We invite empty nesters, working moms, stay-at-home moms, and women in the stage of life where you still desire a social space where you can make meaningful connections and forge new outlets for personal growth! Through this initiative, you can share your passions, interests, and opinions, and you can socialize with a purpose! Whether that be volunteering for different causes, sharing your talents through "special guest" speakers or mentorship, highlighting a small business, working together on personal development projects, or simply making a new friend, we have it all!
We are blessed with a community full of smart, motivated, and accomplished women. Through our collective involvement, we can provide immeasurable support and guidance to one another.
Possible Activities:
- Volunteer in a recurring manner as a group at local fundraising races or with community service organizations (food bank, animal rescue, Habitat for Humanity, senior living activities, etc.)
- Food demonstrations/wine tastings
- Lunch & Learn: Topics may include creating and managing a budget to build financial security; starting your own business; wellness program introduction; beginner gardening, etc.
- Joint activities with the Salisbury Mothers Club, like the kickoff September meeting
Would you like to get to know more women in our community? Please join us to make it happen! Send us an email to salisburymothersclub2.0@gmail.com and be added to our email list so we can keep you updated as the schedule takes shape. We look forward to meeting you soon.
