Brian Yates and Bob Wallace, originally from Michigan and Wisconsin, respectively, have called Seville home for the past three years. Their friendship, forged over 25 years ago at an HR consulting firm in Chicago, brought them back together during the COVID pandemic. Now, they are excited to bring Shrunk 3D, a franchise specializing in high-resolution 3D printed memorabilia, to the Scottsdale and East Valley area. This innovative business captures special moments and milestones, turning them into lasting, detailed statues, perfect for youth sports, schools, corporate events, and personal celebrations.

Bob Wallace and I are both originally from the Midwest, Michigan and Wisconsin respectively. Bob has lived in AZ for 25 years. My wife, Kris and I have been here 3 years.

Bob and I met at a HR consulting firm in the Chicago area over 25 years ago. I went on into federal law enforcement while Bob moved to Chandler to continue his career in health benefits consulting. Our families have remained very close over the years. We chose to move here during COVID so we could 'get the band back together'. Both families moved into Seville about 3 years ago and love the community.

Bob and I have wanted to find a way to work together again so we set out to find the best fit for our interests and our season of life. We were both college athletes and this particular business allows us to work closely with youth athletics. We purchased a Shrunk 3D franchise that offers next generation memorabilia. Other franchises around the country have been very successful working with schools, youth sport clubs, major life events like weddings and graduations, as well as a host of corporate events. We are excited about bringing this unique product to the area.

3D printing technology is on the rise. Shrunk 3D has set itself apart with the high resolution image capture capabilities. We are able to print a wide range of sizes of high resolution statues that are printed with nylon. This is a far better material to offer better resolution and more durable statues. There are lots of design advantages that Shrunk 3D offers as well. Our designers spend 3-4 hours on average with each scan. This allows them to maximize the clarity of the statue while being creative with the customer to add items such as a golf club or change the position before printing. Shrunk 3D has taken photography and memorabilia to the next level. It's a great way to capture special dates, events and life milestones.

We entered into this after a lot of research and a passion to have a fun project for our families to do together. It's been challenging and already so rewarding to spend time with our best friends doing something that is fun and creative.

Interestingly, both families now live in our second homes in the subdivision. We both sold our original Seville homes after just a couple of years. We love the community and were committed to staying here and are glad we did.

Shrunk 3D is really a next generation photography business. We are able to capture special moments and milestones in a unique way to create forever memorabilia. Statues are printed in 3D in the most realistic technology available. The only limitation is your imagination. We sell to schools and youth sports. Many large corporations have hosted events to get their top sellers or leaders scanned. It's a great way to capture a family milestone like weddings, anniversaries, and graduations. This list of events is really endless. The smallest sizes can be made into Christmas ornaments. Each scan generates 3-4 hours of individualized design to help ensure the best resolution and realistic features. It is a really fun venture for us and we are excited to bring Shrunk 3D to Scottsdale and the East Valley.
