Beringer Fine Homes
Meet Tim Beringer, President
Tim Beringer
"The devil is in the details."
What prompted you to start your own business? I grew up in the construction business. At a young age, I learned many of the construction trades. While in school, I learned about architecture and started down a path to become an architect. After high school, I started working as a draftsman and decided working in an office was nowhere near as enjoyable as being out in the field, so I redirected my focus towards building again. Years later, I was able to incorporate both design and construction fields into one business.
Describe what your company does. We are a design/build firm. We handle all aspects of construction, from the land acquisition to the design, to the construction and even furnishing our projects at times.
Anything extraordinary/unique that your company does? There is a saying, "The devil is in the details." Details are very important to what we do. Really that is what makes a house a home; it's all about the details. While many stray away from more complicated details, we embrace them.
Given your business expertise and the nature of what you do, what advice can you offer to the residents of your neighborhood? As our neighborhood ages, many are remodeling and updating their homes. With the booming economy, qualified tradesmen are harder to find. Maintain your home value by hiring a professional contractor. After all, a home is one of your most valuable possessions.
What section of the neighborhood do you live in, and how long have you lived in the neighborhood? We live at Desert Camp and 94th, and we have lived here 10 years.
Where did you grow up? Tell us about your family. I was born right here in the valley. My family moved to Paradise Valley when I was a child, where I grew up. I spent a lot of time working with my father doing construction and helped build our family home in Paradise Valley when I was 13 years old.
What are you your hobbies/interests? I enjoy outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, and going for walks with my wife and daughter.
