When Winter Strikes: Trust Gun Jockey Auto Body for Expert Collision Care
As winter approaches, so do the increased risks of icy roads, low visibility, and unfortunately, the occasional accident. For those times when an accident is unavoidable, you need a reliable team who can bring your car back to top form – and QUICKLY! That's where Gun Jockey Auto Body, owned and operated by industry experts Victor Pena and Victor Meneses, comes in. With over 28 years of combined experience, they offer quality and timeliness that’s second to none in Eagle County.
Founded in 2023 by Victor Pena and Victor Meneses, Gun Jockey Auto Body was born out of a commitment to bringing high-quality, dependable auto body repair to Eagle County. Having met working together at a local auto body shop, these two seasoned professionals shared a vision and joined forces to combine their experience in the industry, making them a trustworthy choice for restoring vehicles after a winter mishap.
The shop’s name, "Gun Jockey," is a nod to the skilled technician responsible for applying paint to vehicles with precision and flair. This is where Victor Meneses shines. Having grown up in the Vail Valley and graduated from Battle Mountain High School, Victor completed training to begin his career as a prepper, and ultimately earned the certifications necessary to become a lead auto paint technician. Today, he is known throughout the valley for his unparalleled paintwork, and prides himself on being a “tool junkie” with a genuine passion for all things automotive.
Victor Pena, a pro at handling the operational side of the business, ensures that Gun Jockey runs smoothly every day. A graduate of Glenwood Springs High School, he was raised in the Roaring Fork Valley and has held previously held roles as an estimator and a shop manager. He oversees everything from estimates and scheduling to managing inventory, streamlining processes, and maintaining a strong line of communication with customers at Gun Jockey. Victor is all about providing a hassle-free experience for clients, so you can feel confident leaving your vehicle in his hands.
Victor and Victor have rounded out their team with a skilled crew of four experienced body techs – Juan, Carlos, Oscar, and Martin – each dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship. Together, they bring meticulous attention to detail and a shared commitment to quality, ensuring every repair meets the highest standards.
Equipped with the largest paint booth between Denver and Grand Junction, Gun Jockey can tackle even the most oversized vehicles, including sprinter vans and shuttles, as well as airplanes. They use eco-friendly, water-based paints and offer a comprehensive range of services, including collision repair, calibration, windshield repair and replacement, refinishing, and detailing.
At Gun Jockey, they prioritize individual car owners, meaning you can expect swift turnaround times that get you back on the road in no time. Should an accident occur this winter, trust Victor and Victor’s team to provide the expertise, efficiency, and support you need.
