The Las Cruces Chapter 555 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA 555) hosts a fundraising breakfast on the third Sunday of each month at their chapter hangar, located on the east side of the Las Cruces International Airport. EAA 555 is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting recreational aviation and education. This year's June fundraiser coincided with Father's Day, bringing together friends and neighbors to enjoy a delightful breakfast while supporting this remarkable organization. The proceeds from these breakfasts benefit the chapter's educational and outreach initiatives, as well as a fund that awards an annual youth scholarship to a deserving aspiring pilot in our community. This scholarship covers most of the training costs required to obtain a Private Pilot Certificate. It's always wonderful to see our community come together to support local organizations like EAA 555, all the while enjoying time with one another.
