Water Werx Auto Detailing Services was founded by Loren Martinez and Whitney Kuhn in July of 2023 and has been successfully bringing  high-quality mobile detailing services to Las Cruces and surrounding areas ever since. Loren and Whitney started Water Werx after observing a growing demand for reliable, reputable detailing services, but that’s not where their story begins.

Loren's story begins in Santa Fe, where he was born. His family later moved to Deming, New Mexico, where he attended grade school and graduated as a proud Wildcat. In 1991, Loren made the move to Las Cruces and feels grateful to have found his home. He is a devoted father to one daughter and a loving grandfather to three grandsons.

Whitney is a Las Cruces native. She was born and raised right here in the City of the Crosses, graduating from Las Cruces High School (go Bulldawgs!) She furthered her education at New Mexico State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business. During her time at NMSU, she was a recipient of the Sam Steel award. 

Loren's career path took several interesting turns. After graduating from Deming High School, he attended NMSU to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering and played baseball for the Aggies. However, his journey took a different direction when he landed a management position with a brokerage firm, overseeing operations in New Mexico and West Texas. After approximately 15 years in this role, Loren felt it was time for a change and transitioned to a position as a service writer in the tire and automotive industry. He spent another 18 years in this field before deciding to leverage his skills and experience to open his own business.

Loren and Whitney's paths crossed eight years ago through a work relationship in the tire and automotive industry. Their shared interests (especially in one another) led them to find each other as not just colleagues, but life companions. 

Given their shared decades of experience in the automotive industry and complementary skill sets, Loren and Whitney’s business journey began.Through diligent market research, they identified a strong demand for a service they could provide. As life for many continues to be endlessly busy, Loren and Whitney sought to help vehicle owners in preserving and maintaining some of their most valuable investments. They knew that they wanted to be able to provide their customers with a reliably excellent detailing experience for a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, RV's, toy haulers, motorcycles, boats, and side-by-sides. As they celebrate their first year in business, they remain dedicated to using high-quality products every time to extend the longevity of these vehicles’ interior and exterior features, maintaining their trail of happy clients for years to come.

What sets Water Werx apart is Loren and Whitney’s recognition that a one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn’t work for detailing. As such, customizable interior and exterior wash packages are tailored to fit each client's budget and time constraints. This custom approach is just one of the many ways Loren and Whitney showcase their unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service. They prioritize convenience and quality over quantity, offering customizable and budget-friendly services to meet their customers' needs.

While Water Werx primarily focuses on automotive and RV detailing, they also offer pressure washing services for all exterior surfaces of homes, including sidewalks, driveways, stucco, roofs, and even solar panels.Their expertise and dedication to quality make them a trusted choice. 

Outside of running their business, Loren and Whitney also own a small pecan farm, which they manage together in their free time. They also enjoy camping, fishing, archery, boating, riding UTVs, and traveling. Their passion for life and commitment to their community shine through in everything they do.
