Our very own Southside resident (and heck of a businesswoman) blew us away this month with a resume that speaks for itself. A unique combination of real estate and real-life experiences have landed her where she is today.

The Dallas native has led a colorful, interesting life in cities across the world, like Hong Kong, Toronto, and Boston, to name just a few. In fact, she moved around a whopping total of eleven times prior to settling here in Sarasota! Perhaps Georgia’s well-rounded, personable nature can be attributed to multicultural influences and interactions with all different types of people near and far. This has provided an understanding of the spectrum of unique challenges that different buyers and sellers face in real estate. Coupled with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, she has developed a special kind of empathy that she applies toward her role each day. Georgia soars above the rest, with her ability to provide superior, more customized services to Sarasota’s diverse population, some newcomers from across the states and seas.

For many years prior she held a variety of sales and marketing positions for prestigious luxury hotels such as Le Meridien Hotels, Shangri-La Hotels of Asia, and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. These roles helped shaped her philosophies which are now applied in a parallel fashion to selling and marketing luxury real estate.

Her affinity for arts and culture, both abroad and local, has offered her a sense of creativity and certainly an eye for good taste. Here in Sarasota, she blends her worldly adventures of the past with her hobbies of the present, continuously gaining useful insight to share with her clients. Time spent at places like Marie Selby Botanical Garden Exhibits, theater productions at Asolo or Florida Studio Theaters, and shopping and dining in the best area restaurants, gives her the ability to highlight all the enrichment that Sarasota has to offer its residents. This often creates selling points for potential buyers. During her free time, you might spot her alongside her husband (Vince) and special pup (Maya), studying and admiring the variety of properties around the West of Trail neighborhood during their evening walks. A fun side note: Georgia and Vince’s son, Daniel (a Ringling College of Art and Design graduate), has inherited similar interests that are woven into his career path. He applies his appreciation for the arts as a motion animation artist- a career his parents have thoroughly enjoyed watching unfold.

Back to business, were wowed by Georgia’s numbers. The stats say it all. She has gained significant recognition as a real estate salesperson, both globally and locally. She is ranked among the top 2% of Caldwell Banker agents worldwide, and top 1% of agents in the state of Florida! She has also been acknowledged by RealTrends Verified as a top real estate professional in 2024 and holds some of the highest reviews in town.

A professional project of great success in recent years, the marketing and sales of Waterline Villas and Marina in Holmes Beach, led her to meeting and working with another well-respected name in the industry: realtor Steven Windsor. The two quickly discovered how well their backgrounds and synergistic talents blend. They began using this to their advantage, to combine and conquer.

Windsor, originally from Manchester, England, began investing in real estate at just twenty-one years of age as he pursued a career in Classical Ballet. His determination and stellar performance on stage earned international acclaim, with invitations to perform in Lisbon, London, and Tokyo. This eventually led to the opportunity of performing the prestigious Sarasota Ballet. Upon partaking and moving to Sarasota in 2010, he continued to simultaneously pursue a career in real estate. He began investing in and renovating properties here, all while working as a full-time real estate sales professional. Aside from his work, he and his wife, Christine (also a former Sarasota ballerina) have been busy raising three daughters: Sophie, Eloise, and Ivy. He enjoys cheering on his girls in their extracurricular activities, playing European football, rowing, and soaking up the Sarasota sunshine.

In 2023, Georgia and Steve made the obvious decision to officially become business partners. The Salaverri-Windsor Group of Coldwell Banker Realty launched its unique partnership in Downtown Sarasota, which continues to thrive more and more. Their similar interests, history of international living, and decades of applicable, pertinent experiences outside of real estate has created a powerhouse team. The pair is excited to share a current project, Peninsula Sarasota: a new boutique condominium complex, currently under construction on Golden Gate Point. It features over twenty ultra-luxurious residences full of sprawling rooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, views overlooking the beautiful water and chic, high-end finishes. The project is nearing completion, with only a few still being finished, including a spectacular two-floor penthouse. This property and others will be ready for new resident move-in by the end of 2024.

Another success story is a Hillview Drive listing in West of Trail’s Harbor Acres, which recently sold for $7,250,000! A couple of new listings are coming to market in September, according to the team, so stay tuned- they won’t last long.
