Jon Braly- Stonebriar Village Veteran
To the veterans of Stonebriar Village, you touch our hearts. It is our privilege to thank you for your service to our country. This year we proudly recognized 78 men and women who served in our armed forces.
The women of the Stonebriar Neighborhood Committee (SNC) decorate the mailboxes of vets living in our village, a tradition that brings heartfelt appreciation and connection to our community. This year, we heard from vets, their spouses, and even members of our team about what the Veterans Day recognition means to them. Their words remind us of the impact a simple gesture can have. I’d like to share some of the comments with you.
“Yes, I am a veteran. Actually, a disabled veteran with DV plates on my car. I would be honored to have a bow wrapped around my mailbox. I am 66 years old, and my wife and I are new to the neighborhood. Never has anyone ever offered any recognition like this anywhere we have lived.”
Thanks
Larry and Ruth
“My husband served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He would consider it an honor to be included in Stonebriar Village’s Veteran Military Recognition.”
