Ashley Horton of BCC hosted “Santa Paws” for the second year at the BCC clubhouse. The November event offered pet and family photos for $10 or another donation to Carolina Boxer Rescue. “The best part,” says Ashley, “is that we raised $2,142 this year, compared to $565 our first year. Even better, 100% of the money was donated to Carolina Boxer Rescue.” This year’s Santa Paws was dedicated to the memory of Ashley’s dog Bailey. “I lost Bailey – after 13 years – on November 1. I'm so proud and touched by all our community members and friends who came out to support our cause. I would like to do this event each year for our neighborhood. We loved meeting everyone's furry friends and families,” says Ashley.
