Dr. Shaleigh, originally from central Pennsylvania, and Dr. Brandon, a native of southwest Pennsylvania, met while attending West Virginia University. Their shared passion for helping others led them to pursue careers in healthcare. Dr. Brandon initially planned to become a physical therapist but discovered his love for chiropractic care after shadowing a chiropractor. Dr. Shaleigh, on the other hand, focused on research and education during her chiropractic studies. Dr. Shaleigh and Dr. Brandon bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Align Life. Their commitment to exceptional care is evident in their personalized treatment plans and dedication to patient education.

What sets Align Life apart is its emphasis on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. "We believe that the body has an innate ability to heal itself," Dr. Brandon explains. "Our goal is to provide the necessary support and tools to facilitate that healing process."

Dr. Brandon's journey into chiropractic care began with a desire to become a physical therapist. However, after shadowing a chiropractor, he was captivated by the philosophy that "the power that made the body heals the body when you give it the right nutrients." He found a refreshing difference in the approach to healthcare offered by chiropractic care, which emphasizes prevention and wellness rather than solely treating illness. 

Dr. Brandon believes that chiropractic care has been ahead of the curve in recognizing the importance of empowering patients to take control of their health. In today's age of accessible information, patients no longer have to blindly trust healthcare providers' advice. They can actively research and make informed decisions about their care. Dr. Brandon and Dr. Shaleigh are adamant that their patients become their advocates for their health. “Do your research, and be skeptical! Ask questions about anything that you have concerns about. And find a really good healthcare professional that will be in your corner. This is how you take charge of your health.”

The practice offers a variety of therapeutic modalities, including chiropractic adjustments, functional nutritional testing, weight management, soft wave tissue regeneration, in-body composition scans, and 3D foot scans for custom orthotics. Their personalized treatment plans are tailored to meet each patient's individual needs and goals.

Align Life is deeply committed to giving back to Sugar Hill and surrounding communities. They actively participate in local events, offer community workshops, and support various charitable organizations. Dr. Shaleigh shares, “One of our goals as an office is to continually give back to our community. We are partnered with The Block, which is a local food resource for lower-income families. We also support a local women's shelter. Recently, we have started a donation drop-off and collection for hurricane Helene relief efforts.” 

Dr. Shaleigh and Dr. Brandon are also passionate about personally giving back to the community. Outside of work hours, they serve as small group leaders for 15-16-year-olds at Gwinnett Church, a role they were inspired to take on by one of their patients. Through their involvement in the "Inside Out" ministry, they have had the opportunity to mentor and connect with these young people. Dr. Brandon and Dr. Shaleigh find that their work with these teenagers has been mutually beneficial, deepening their faith and providing them with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by today's youth.

Dr. Shaleigh and Dr. Brandon envision a bright future for Align Life Chiropractic. They are committed to building upon the legacy of their mentors, Dr. Deb and Dr. Joe, and continuing to provide exceptional care to the community.  "We want to continue to build a welcoming and supportive environment where people feel empowered to take charge of their health," Dr. Shaleigh says. "Our goal is to be more than just a chiropractic practice; we want to be a trusted resource for the community."

Beyond their professional goals, Dr. Shaleigh and Dr. Brandon are excited about growing their family. They hope to reach a point where they can step back from patient care and focus on building a solid team within the practice, allowing them to mentor and support future generations of chiropractors.
