How long have you lived in the neighborhood? What is your favorite part of living in the neighborhood?

Six years. We love the people of Augusta. We appreciate the restaurants located in such a close vicinity. We enjoy walking our dog in the rolling hills of our neighborhood.

Tell us a little about your back story - growing up, colleges, first jobs, etc.

Cissy grew up in Mississippi and Aiken as a youngster where she excelled in academics and band. Eventually graduating from college locally at AU, she attended Mercer and MCG receiving her MD and residency in Emergency Medicine. Stevie grew up in North Louisiana, and attained his BS in History from Kennesaw State and then his MSM with a concentration in Hospital Administration from TSU. Eventually, he got into sales as an Account Executive for WJBF and then went into Cardiac Sales for St Jude and two other international Cardiac Device companies. He is now the practice manager for Drenched Hydration Advanced Med Spa. Throughout his life combat sports have been a big part of his life. Having grown up around boxing with one of his uncles an Olympic boxer in 1976, Stevie started competing at a young age, eventually participating in golden gloves boxing, amateur and professional boxing, kickboxing and MMA. Nowadays Stevie teaches boxing and kickboxing and helps prepare young upcoming athletes for the ring. Cissy works to keep those athletes safe by working with them on their nutrition and as a ring doctor for pro and amateur boxing, kickboxing and MMA bouts.

What are some of the activities you enjoy? Does your family have any hobbies?

Cissy and Stevie might be considered health nuts. Both enjoy various martial art training such as kickboxing, modified Muay Thai, competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and weightlifting. Weekends can find them kayaking, biking or cooking out with the kids.

If you have kids, what are some of their favorite activities or achievements?

Lauren was recently married, also lives in Summerville with her husband, Mike, and works as an OB/GYN Oncology PA at AU. Cade was one of the top-ranked MMA competitors in the US and recently graduated in cosmetology. She specializes in hair and lashes. She is the mother of Ace, the cutest and smartest 2-year-old little boy we have ever seen! Jolie Bey is a member of the ADPi sorority at Georgia College in Milledgeville and is going into nursing

We like combat sports and healthy living. We strive to get the most out of life. We enjoy our family and friends. However, we maintain a focus on our business helping people stay young and feel their very best.
