The Greenways annual neighborhood picnic in September was a huge success! Not only did we enjoy great music, food, and beautiful weather, we also made new friends and reconnected with old ones. Tennessee Tuckness entertained us throughout the evening while we enjoyed delicious BBQ! The favorite ice cream sundae with our adults was chocolate with pecans. The kids loved strawberry sundaes with gummy bears! A variety of mini donuts from DonutNV were enjoyed by so many of you – if you didn’t try the donuts with Oreos on top, then you missed out! The face painting and bounce houses were a hit with our kids, big and small! Thank you to everyone who made it out to enjoy the fun outdoors. We had another big crowd with over 850 people attending!

As a way to bless our neighborhood school, The Greenways continues to collect monetary donations for Greenways Intermediate School. All money donated is used to buy Christmas gifts and school supplies for students in need. School counselors will purchase, wrap, and deliver gifts to selected families. We are excited to continue our tradition this holiday season! Thank you in advance for helping families in need this Christmas – your gifts are far reaching! Donations must be received by Saturday, Nov 23.

Thanks to our wonderful homeowners, each year The Greenways displays some of the most beautiful lights in town. Every year the lights get better and better! If you’re like me, I cannot wait to see all the Christmas lights this season! Plan an evening with friends or family, make some hot chocolate and cookies, and drive through the neighborhood in December! Each year the HOA hosts a Christmas lights contest, and winners will be announced mid-December. The winners from each category will receive a $25 Roaster’s Coffee gift card, bragging rights, and a sign in their lawn!
