Ada Peeples

At just 16 years old, Ada Peeples, a junior at Little Rock Christian Academy, has already built an impressive golf career. As a dedicated member of her school's golf team, she loves the sport not only for its competitive nature but also for the experiences it brings—being outdoors, meeting new people, and constantly striving to improve.

Ada’s journey with golf started when she was just four or five years old, swinging little plastic clubs her dad gave her. As she grew, so did her passion for the sport. Today, she plays at a highly competitive level, traveling for tournaments across Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Virginia, and Florida. Whether competing in school tournaments or attending college golf camps, the sport has taken her to some of the most beautiful golf courses she has ever seen.
Her biggest mentor in the sport has always been her dad, who has supported her both mentally and physically on the course. In addition, she trains twice a month with swing coach Patrick Sullivan, who helps her refine her technique. Her school coach has also been a major influence, pushing her to be more disciplined and mentally strong, which are crucial skills for success in golf.

One of Ada’s favorite moments came this season when her team played in the Central 5A Girls Conference match at Cypress Creek Golf Club. Not only did her team perform exceptionally well and win the match, but Ada medaled with an impressive score of 75.
Beyond technique and competition, golf has taught Ada invaluable life lessons. She has learned how to control her emotions, be patient with herself, and not dwell on mistakes. She understands that in golf one bad moment doesn’t define the final outcome, so she focuses on finishing strong rather than reacting to setbacks.
For those new to the sport, Ada offers a key piece of advice: "Remember that you have to start somewhere. Golf is one of the most difficult sports to master, and even being just ‘okay’ takes serious effort. Give yourself grace, be patient, and most importantly, have fun."
